Thank you so much dear Russ. That means a lot coming from you.

I have been meaning to ask you about the poetic paragraphs that are part of your testing AMS. Do you write the original paragraphs? They are just beautiful - layered - deep. My compliments to you or to who or whatever may be their source - or even for the sensitivity of choosing them for your testing. πŸ’—πŸ™

Thank you, Ellen. Rarely do I write poetry. Usually, I have an idea, a concept, and then I have a model to help me build it. What I attempt to do is to use senses such as poetry, music, art, etc., to help explain concepts. For example, soon I will do a SubStack post. What I want to do is to express the depth of paint some painters use for their painting. I'm not talking about perception as the depth, but the paint as the depth. While I know some painters do this, I don't know who. So, I will research it and then write about that. I do this to be factual and to, of course, relate back to the concept I am attempting to convey. Warmly, Russ

Are you talking about impasto? If so, several well known artists have used that such as Rembrandt, Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, and Jackson Pollock in his famous drip paintings. Contemporary artists are using that technique as well. I recently saw an exhibition where there was an abstract expressionist type artist doing that to the point where the canvas was three-dimensional - sculptural. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of the artist.

Anyway, I love the writing in your test paragraphs. I don’t see them as poetry in form, but as very poetic. πŸ’—πŸ™

Love the thoughts, Ellen. Yes, I thought about Rembrandt, Van Gogh. Those would have been excellent choices. For the Substack post today, I used: "Portrait of a Girl" by Julian Schnabel. FYI... I had struggled for a few days trying to understand the idiom data. It took two LLMs to help me to see what I could not see. So, the this post today reflects that. Warmly, Russ.. PS. Keep posting your research. It is fantastic!

Thank you so much for your encouragement dear Russ. It means so much coming from you. I deeply respect the work you are doing and - and am touched by the generosity and kindness of spirit that you consistently demonstrate to me and those of us here who are researching in our own unique ways (and in my case without any credentials that you have). I see you encouraging so many of us who are much less experienced and knowledgeable about computer science than you. πŸ’—πŸ™

Thank you, Ellen. Curiosity and determination to help others. It is about paying kindness forward and expecting nothing in return. What is best is not my work, but others - like you - who, with kindness and honesty, seek to find truth and uplift others along the way. Keep going!!!!
